Pivex Membership Turns Unused Challenge Accounts Into Credits Traders Can Bank for Later
The recurring plan grants a challenge account every billing cycle, holds unused accounts as credits, and lowers the cost per attempt.
UNITED KINGDOM, September 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- A trader who breaches a proprietary trading challenge has usually had one route back, which is to buy another account. Pivex, a proprietary trading firm running one-step evaluations, has introduced a recurring plan that changes that. Called Membership, it grants a new challenge account every billing cycle and holds any account the trader does not use as a credit.Membership sits alongside the existing one-time purchase rather than replacing it, and is open to both new and existing users. Under the one-time model a trader pays once and receives one account. The price per account under Membership is lower than buying the same account outright, and the value is tied to the subscription staying active.
Pricing across the sector has been built around a single unit at a single price. That structure suits a trader who passes on the first attempt. It works against a trader who needs several attempts to settle into the rules.
"Most traders do not fail a challenge because the rules are unreasonable. They fail because the first attempt is where the learning happens, and that learning has been billed at full price every time," Pivex said. "Membership prices the way people actually get good at this."
Pricing for UK traders
Membership opens at an introductory rate for the first month and moves to the recurring rate afterwards. As of September 2026 a $10,000 account starts at 29.99 pounds and recurs at 59.99 pounds a month, a $25,000 account at 59.99 pounds and then 119.99 pounds, a $50,000 account at 119.99 pounds and then 239.99 pounds, and a $100,000 account at 179.99 pounds and then 359.99 pounds. The introductory rate applies to a trader's first Membership at a given account size, and promotional codes apply to the recurring rate. Account sizes refer to the nominal size of the simulated account and are stated in U.S. dollars, while Membership pricing for UK traders is charged in British pounds.
How the model works
Billing is monthly only and follows the trader's own purchase date rather than a shared calendar date. Billing pauses at the funded stage, since Membership is designed to cover the challenge phase.
Accounts granted by a billing cycle are held as credits rather than opened on the trading platform immediately. Credits remain available for three months and expire if unused.
What changes after a breach
The credit balance is the practical difference between the two models. A trader on Membership who breaches an account can activate a credited account at no additional cost, wait for the next billing cycle, or buy immediately. A trader on a one-time account has only the purchase route, because no credits are generated and one-time accounts cannot be reset.
Membership challenge accounts are also exempt from the inactivity rule while the plan is active. The inactivity rule still applies at the funded stage.
Progression to the funded stage requires the Membership to be active at the point the account is marked as passed. Account credits freeze alongside a paused Membership rather than expiring, and stay available if the trader returns to the challenge phase later.
Both models can run together
Traders are not asked to choose. A one-time account bought earlier and a new Membership can run at the same time, and each account keeps the rules of the model it was bought under. Accounts are separated in the dashboard. There is no cap on how many Memberships a trader can hold, including several at the same account size.
Availability
Membership is available now to Pivex users in the United Kingdom across the account sizes listed above. Challenge rules, profit targets and loss limits are unchanged and identical under both purchase models.
